About the Company :
Megha Fruit Processing Pvt Ltd was incorporated in 2004 . In 2007, the company entered into co-packaging juice drinks in Tetra Pak. Presently the firm is manufacturing fruit drinks such as Sip-on Mango, Apple and Fruit Punch. The Group has its manufacturing unit in Puttur (Karnataka) and warehouses in Puttur, Bangalore, Hubli, Gulbarga, Pune, Chittoor, Kasargod with a total storage capacity of 278,500 cases; warehouses at Chittoor, AP are also used for pulp storage. The company’s annual production capacity is 3.47 million 250 ml pet bottles and 0.83 million 500m/1000m bottles at 60% utilisation. The products are sold in Karnataka, Kerala, Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Orissa and Southern Maharashtra.
The company has also up a tetra pack facility with capacity to manufacture 2.22 million cases in FY2012-13, at an estimated cost of Rs.23.13 crore funded through Rs 14.40 crore term loan sanctioned by SBI, Rs 4.00 crore equity, Rs 2.73 crore unsecured loans, Rs 1.00 crore subsidy and Rs. 1.00 crore by way of internal accruals.
