Harinagar Sugar Mills is planning to expand its distillery in Harinagar in West Champaran district of Bihar. The project involves expanding molasses based distillery production capacity from 45 klpd to 120 klpd and increase in captive power generation capacity from 1.5 MW to 6.5 MW.
Land required for the project is around 4.86 ha which is readily available in the existing premises. The project cost is estimated at ₹ 682 million.
