Avadh Sugar & Energy Ltd is planning to expand its distillery in Hargaon in Surjipara village in Sitapur district of Uttar Pradesh. The project involves expanding molasses based distillery production capacity from 100 klpd to 500 klpd to produce rectified spirit, absolute alcohol, extra neutral alcohol.
The project also involves expanding cogeneration power plant capacity from 3.0 MW to 6.5 MW. The project cost is estimated at ₹ 300 million.
