DCM Shriram is planning to set up a distillery in Ajbapur in Mohammadi Tehsil in Lakshmipur Kheri district of Uttar Pradesh. The project involves setting up of a molasses based distillery with a production capacity of 225 klpd with a cogeneration power plant of 12 MW. Land required for the project is already available.
The project cost is estimated at ₹ 2500 million. As of December 2018, the project is in planning stage.
