Maruti Shetkari Asavani Ltd is planning to set up a distillery in Kameri village in Walawa Tehsil in Sangli district of Maharashtra. The project involves setting up of a molasses based distillery with a production capacity of 60 klpd. Land required for the project is already available.
The project cost is estimated at ₹ 853 million. The new distillery will produce rectified spirit (60 klpd), absolute alcohol (60 klpd), extra neutral alcohol (60 klpd). As of December 2018, the project is in planning stage.
