Vishwaraj Sugars is planning to expand its sugar mill in Bellad-Bagewadi in Hukkeri Tehsil in Belagavi district of Karnataka. The project involves expanding sugar mill production capacity from 5500 tcd to 11,000 tcd, distillery production capacity from 35 klpd to 100 klpd, cogeneration power plant capacity from 39 MW to 64 MW.
As of December 2018, the project is in planning stage.
