Tata Global Beverages is planning to set up a tea packaging unit in Gopalpur park in Odisha. The company plans to invest ₹1000 million towards the packaging facility. The new plant will have a capacity of 36 million kg and is likely to go operational by 2020.
The tea packaging plant will cater to Tata Global’s Indian market and will produce Tata Tea, Tetley, Himalayan natural mineral water, Tata Water Plus and Tata Gluco+, Good Earth tea, Grand Coffee and Eight O’clock coffee. The new plant is scheduled to be operational by 2020.
