Malegaon Sahakar Sahakari Ltd is planning an expansion programme at its sugar mill in Shivnagar in Baramati Tehsil in Pune district of Maharashtra. The project involves expanding sugar crushing capacity from 4000 tcd to 8250 tcd and also increasing its captive power plant capacity from 21.0 MW to 35.0 MW.
The project cost is estimated at ₹ 95.55 crores. As of November 2019, the project is in implementation.
