Upper Doab Sugar Mills, part of Dalmia group is planning to expand its sugar mill in Shamli village in Muzaffar Nagar district of Uttar Pradesh. The project cost is estimated at ₹ 22.89 million. The project involves expanding sugar crushing capacity from 6250 tcd to 8000 tcd.
As of November 2019, the project is in planning stage.
