Mizoram government has commissioned the Zoram Mega Food Park in Khamrang village in Kolasib district of the state. The mega food park was set up with an investment of ₹ 752 million and is spread across 55 acres of land.
It has facilities like core processing center which include cold storage facility of 1000 tonnes, a dry ware house of 300 tonnes, aseptic pulp line, canning and other food testing infrastructure. The park will house around 300 units which will entail and additional investment of ₹ 2500 million.
