M D Ethanol Pvt Ltd is planning to set up a distillery in Pimpalvihir in Amaravati district of Maharashtra. The project involves setting up of a grain based distillery of 180 klpd along with a cogeneration power plant of 4.5 MW, a DDGS dryer of 180 tpd, fermentation unit of 136 tpd etc., The project cost is estimated at ₹ 2,378 million.
