MARS International India Pvt. Ltd. is a wholly owned subsidiary of MARS, Incorporated. In India, Mars operates in two categories, a Pet care manufacturing and marketing business; and a Chocolate importation and marketing operation. The chocolate segment has its corporate office in Gurgaon, New Delhi. The pet care business is based in the southern state of Andhra Pradesh with its corporate office in Hyderabad.
MARS India is presently engaged in manufacturing pet food under its global brands PEDIGREE® and WHISKAS®. In August 2017, the company is planning to launch its famous confectionery brand M&M’s in the country. This will add to its domestic portfolio which includes Snickers, Mars, Bounty, Double Mint, Boomer, Orbit, Galaxy and Twix .
The company has also integrated operations of Mars and Wrigley to create Mars Wrigley Confectionery (MWC). The company has manufacturing plant in Pune in Maharashtra and Baddi in Himachal Pradesh.
