About the Company :
MRN Cane Power India Ltd was incorporated in February 2011 at Bengaluru. The company proposes to set up an integrated sugar plant for the manufacture of sugar, with a sugarcane crushing capacity of 5000 tons per day and a 30-megawatt cogeneration power plant. The plant is proposed to be located at Bagalkot, Karnataka and is spread across 68 acres 28 guntas. It is proposed to execute the project in two phases: Sugar & Cogen project will be executed in 1st phase and Ethanol project in 2nd phase. The construction for the first phase commenced from February 06, 2016. The project is expected to be completed in 18 months i.e. by November 2017. The project is reported to be technically feasible and financially viable as per the bankers’ recent techno-economic viability study.
