Denzong Albrew Pvt Ltd was incorporated in 1999. The promoter-directors, Mr Rishi Kumar Mittal and his brother, Mr Sanjay Mittal, have been in the liquor manufacturing business in North Eastern India since the past two decades. DAPL commissioned its beer plant in June 2011, with a production capacity of 150,000 hecto litres per annum (hlpa). The manufacturing unit produces mild (lager) and strong beer using malt and hops as primary raw materials. The company has a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with UBL to manufacture and bottle beer under the principal’s brands Kingfisher and Kalyani Black Label.
