Inamdar Sugars Ltd is planning to expand its sugar mill in Hirekoppa in Soundatti Taluk in Belagavi district in Karnataka. The project involves expanding its sugar mill from 3,500 tcd to 15,000 tcd, increasing the capacity of cogeneration power plant form 12 MW to 80 MW and installation of a 800 klpd distillery. The project cost is estimated at ₹ 4940 million.
