Shivshakti Sugars Ltd is planning an expansion programme at its Saundatti plant in Raibag Tehsil in Belagavi district of Karnataka. The project involves expanding sugar production capacity from 14,000 tcd to 25,000 tcd, captive cogeneration power plant from 60 MW to 100 MW, a grain based distillery of 500 klpd etc., The project cost is estimated at ₹ 5,500 million.
