BreezeFresh Dairy and Agro Farms Pvt Ltd was originally incorporated on the 7th June 2011 as Chromium Power and Infrastructure Limited. The name of the company was subsequently changed to BreezeFresh Dairy and Agro Farms Pvt. Ltd. As a part of its objectives, the company is in the process of establishing, in the state of Tamil Nadu, a Hi-tech Integrated Dairy unit, with in- house capacity of 1250 Holstein Friesian (HF) cows, for milk production and processing, besides by-products like bio-gas and organic manure amongst others.
The company had already acquired 52.66 acres of land in the name of BreezeFresh Dairy and Agro Farms Pvt. Ltd. and 55.35 acres of land in the name of Ecosphere Agrofarms Pvt. Ltd. (Subsidiary of BreezeFresh Dairy and Agro Farms Pvt. Ltd) which would eventually be leased in the name of the company this will make the total of 108 acres of land available for the project.
The total cost of the project is estimated to be Rs.43.85 Cr excluding cost of land worth 8.98 Cr, to be funded by Rs.17.65 Cr of equity and the balance Rs.26.20 Cr from the proposed term loan and Rs.0.38 Cr from the proposed working capital loan from the bank
