About the Company :
CSBIL was incorporated in September 1995, as Chincholi Sugar Mills Limited by the promoters of Rajshree Sugars Limited (RSL), a Coimbatore-based company. The company was renamed as Chincholi Sugar and Bio Industries Limited in March 2006 when the present promoter, Mr Thota Subbarayudu took over the stake from the previous promoters. CSBIL is setting up an integrated sugar mill with sugarcane crushing capacity of 3,500 Tonnes Cane per Day (TCD), two bagasse based cogeneration power plants with a capacity of 30 MW & 2 MW respectively and a distillery (Ethanol & ENA) with a capacity of 65.0 Kilo litres per day (KLPD).
The project cost was estimated at Rs.315.4 crore to be financed with a debt of Rs.210.0 crore and equity of Rs.105.4 crore. As on November 5, 2011, the company had incurred a cost of Rs.238.76 crore funded from Rs.84.73 crore of equity and the balance (Rs.155.21 crore) from term loans.
