Incorporated in 1992, Mahabir Industries is primarily engaged in extraction of crude rice bran oil from rice bran and occasionally undertakes processing of sunflower seeds as well. The firm operates from its production unit located at Karnal in Haryana with an installed capacity of 150 MT of rice bran and 200 Mt of sunflower seeds per day. The firm is promoted by the Khurana family who have an experience of about two decades in the extraction of rice bran oil and have promoted other companies namely Mahabir Vegetable Oils Pvt Ltd (Karnal, Haryana) and B.D.
