About the Company :
Mawana Sugars is involved in the activities of manufacturing and sale of sugar and ethanol. The company markets its products under the brand Mawana in sachets, cubes as well as to institutional users like Nestle, Coca-Cola, JoyCo, Prefetti, Heinz, Hamdard and NCCF amongst others. The company operates three sugar factories in UP namely Mawana Sugar Works, Titawi Sugar Complex and Nanglamal Sugar Complex. Mawana Sugars has an installed capacity to produce 21,000 MTCD of sugar which was later increased to 29,500 MTCD during the year. The company also has a capacity to produce 120 KLPD of ethanol. During the same period, the company produced 262,588 MT of sugar.
In 2007, Mawana Sugars set up refineries of capacity to produce 300 TPD and 600 TPD of sugar at Titwai and Nanglakamal respectively. The company also commenced production of co- generation of power at all three units with effect from Mar 2007, taking its installed capacity to 47 MW.
