About the Company :
Bhalkeshwar Sugars Limited (BSL) was incorporated in 2000 and is promoted by Mr. Prakash Khandre . It is commissioning a sugar plant in Bhalki in Bidar district of North Karnataka. The first phase of the project is commissioned in March 2014, at an effective project cost of Rs. 143.20 Cr. In this first phase BSL has commissioned a 2500 TCD sugar plant and 16 MW cogeneration unit, while in the second phase it has plan to expand this capacity to 5000 TCD and 30 MW.
