About the Company :
Eco Cane Sugar Energy Ltd is a part of Karnataka based Doddannavar Group previously known as Nalawade Sugar Mills Ltd (NSML) and engaged in manufacturing of sugar. It was incorporated in 1999 by Mr. Sangramsingh A. Nalawade to establish a cane sugar unit of capacity 2500 TCD. Later in 2005, Doddanavar Brothers joined the Company as directors, assumed control and also infused equity needed for the project implementation. Operations commenced in 2007. The manufacturing facility is located at Po. Mhalunge-kh, Tal. Chandgad, Dist. Kolhapur of Maharashtra State. The installed capacity of the plant is 2500 Tonnes Crushed per Day (TCD). The various grades of sugar produced by the company are L Super, M Super, S1 Super and S2 Super. Capacity utilization was ~91% and Sugar recovery was 12.46% in FY16. In addition to these products, the Company also sells by-products like Bagasse, Molasses and Press Mud.
