Feedatives Pharma Pvt. Ltd was incorporated in 1995 as a private limited company for the manufacturing of animal feed supplements. In 2005, it forayed into integrated poultry farming. The company is running 37 poultry farms under contract farming arrangements and four owned breeding farms. The bird production i.e. bird placement is around 145,000 birds per week, which the company proposes to increase to 200,000 birds. FPPL markets eggs & cull birds locally in Hooghly area of West Bengal, to some dealers of poultry products and accordingly has firm marketing tie-up for the same.
