Premier Distilleries Pvt Ltd was incorporated on 20th March 1998 ,promoted by Mr. K Sekar and commenced production in September 2000. Its office and manufacturing unit are located in Puducherry (Pondicherry). The company is into manufacturing and sale of Indian Made Foreign Liquors (IMFL). The major raw material used by the company is ENA (Extra Neutral Alcohol).
The company started the distillery in the year 2000 in a land of 3.5 acres at Mangalam village. The major products of the company are brandy, whisky, rum, gin, vodka and wine. The company sells its product under its own brand name. Its production unit measuring nearly 20,000 sq. ft is erected for blending, bottling and storage purposes. The company constructed Shed without Pillars for free flow of materials & to have more open space. Its unit is having the provision to accommodate 8 bottling lines to include both semi and fully automatic machines. Out of 8, currently, company has two fully automatic and three semi-automatic lines to cater 5,000 cases of production per day.
