About the Company :
RPA Foods Pvt Ltd was initially established by Prem Prakash and family in 2009. The company is a contract based manufacturer of Parle-G biscuits for the Parle Products Pvt Ltd. The raw materials are entirely supplied by Parle and the manufacturing process is done according to the standards and specifications given by Parle.
The company began its operations in 2010 but was unable to sustain itself on account of heavy losses; the company was subsequently sold to Mrs Preeti Saraf, Ishunand Trading and Gielle Investments in 2011. Although the company has subsequently increased sales, operating costs are still very high which has resulted in continuous negative profit margins. The company has however improved profitability and sales in FY14.
