Sadashiva Sugars Ltd was incorporated in 2002 and is based in Bangalore, India. As of October 10, 2009, Sadashiva Sugars Ltd. operates as a subsidiary of E.I.D Parry (India) Limited.
SSL is engaged in manufacturing Sugar in its plant in Nagaral Nainegali in Bagalkot District of North Karnataka. The plant started commercial operations in November-2009 after acquisition of 76% stake by EID Parry India Limited. In August 2011 EID Parry (India) Ltd acquired the balance 24% by making the SSL a wholly owned subsidiary. The plant has 3500 TCD cane crushing capacity and 15.5 MW cogeneration plant. In SY2012 SSL Crushed, close to 4.41 lakh MT of cane and also produced 51387 MT of Sugar. SSL is also engaged in exporting power at short term PPA/ merchant mode and in FY-2012 has exported close to 35 MU.
