About the Company :
Tikaula Sugar Mills Ltd (TSML), incorporated on December 06, 1994 had set up a sugar manufacturing unit with an installed capacity of 2,500 Tonnes Crushed per day (TCD) at Muzaffarnagar in Uttar Pradesh. TSML was promoted by Mr Sarva Shakti Swarup, Mr Somansh Prakash, Mr Nidhish Prakash and Mr Sudhish Prakash. Over the years, the company has increased its capacity from 2,500 TCD to 5,000 TCD.
The company has integrated operations with a distillery with capacity of 25 KLPD and a cogeneration power plant of 20 MW capacity which uses bagasse as input. Out of the total production, TSML uses about 10 MW in captive consumption and the rest is sold to Uttar Pradesh Power Corporation Ltd (UPPCL) at fixed rates of Rs.4.19/ unit. TSML approached the Corporate Debt Restructuring (CDR) Cell in 2004 as its financial performance had been adversely affected due to the downturn in the sugar industry at that time and has been adhering to the terms of CDR package since then.
