About the Company :

DSCL entered the sugar business in 1998 when it set up its first sugar manufacturing unit at Ajbapur, Distt. Lakhimpur Kheri, Uttar Pradesh. Other than Ajbapur, its manufacturing units are located at Rupapur, Hariawan & Loni, all in district Hardoi, Uttar Pradesh. While Rupapur was acquired in 2003, Loni and Hariawan were set up as Greenfield projects in 2007. The company works with approximately 1.5 lac farmers, has an installed capacity of 33,000 TCD and crushes around 4 million tons of cane from four manufacturing units. DSCL Sugar is the 5th largest sugar business in India.

In March 2016, the company is embarking on brownfield expansion at its facilities like technology improvement of existing cogen power plant in Ajbapur Sugar factory in Uttar Pradesh leading to higher power generation to the extent of 16.4 MW
