Lohiya Edible Oil belongs to the Hyderabad-based Lohiya group promoted by Mr Kanhaiyalal Lohiya. It has a refining capacity of 300 tonnes per day (TPD) at Maheshwaram (Telangana) to manufacture different kinds of vegetable oils. In the year 2009, the company expanded its infrastructure by establishing one more plant at Kakinada (Andhra Pradesh). The Kakinada plant has total refining capacity of 750 TPD along with 700 TPD for fractionation, hydrogenation and interestification. The manufacturing facility also has a packing plant for refined oils and vegetable fats.
