Simran Farms Ltd was originally established as Simran Farms Pvt. Ltd in the year 1984 and commenced its production in 1993 based in Indore, Madhya Pradesh. On October 15, 1993, it was reconstituted into public limited company. SFL is listed in BSE (Bombay Stock Exchange) and is a dividend paying company. SFL is presently running hatchery farms having installed capacity of 345,000 birds. Out of which only 225,000 birds are for the purpose of producing hatching eggs and rest of 120,000 birds are of novice age (2-10 weeks old). Currently, the Capacity of producing hatching eggs is around 26.87 million per annum.
One of the main raw materials required for SFL are day old parent chicks which is mainly purchased from VENKYS who is a sole suppliers of parent chicks in India. Feed is being supplied from its own associate concern – Simran Feeds Pvt. Ltd and other local suppliers.
