About the Company :
Chimique (India) Ltd started operations in the year 2013 and is engaged in manufacturing of guar gum powder and guar gum split. CIL was promoted by Late Mr. Hanuman Parshad Kedia, who had approximately three decades of experience in the guar gum business (through group company Jai Bharat Gum & Chemicals Limited. JBGCL was originally incorporated as a Partnership firm in 1982 and was converted to a public limited company in 1996. Also promoters have been engaged in manufacturing of guar gum products since 1982.JBGCL demerged its Gujarat unit to a separate entity viz. Chimique India Limited with effect from April-2014. The shareholders’ of JBGCL were allotted shares of CIL in the ratio of 1:1. Post demerger, JBGCL focused primarily on traditional product mix and CIL ventured into value added guar gum products. As on March 31, 2022, CIL has two units: Gujarat unit (Bhimasar) and Haryana unit (Siwani) with installed capacities of 20,000 MTPA for guar gum powder and 40,000 MTPA for guar gum split respectively. The company owns 2 windmill with a capacity of 2.1 MW each, power generated by which is sold to Southern Power Distribution Company of Andhra Pradesh Ltd for a period of 25 years.
