In March 2016, the firm received a Letter of Intent from PepsiCo India Holdings Private Ltd (PepsiCo) for manufacturing of potato chips (under ‘Uncle Chipps’ brand) and corn puffs (under ‘Kurkure’ brand) for a period of 10 years commencing from March 29, 2017 after which the firm set up a manufacturing unit with minimum installed capacity of 8,424 tpa (3,300 tpa for potato chips and 5,124 tpa for corn puffs) at Chaygaon, Assam.
