Bikaner-based (Rajasthan) Modi Diary (MDY) a part of Milk Food Aids Pvt Ltd was promoted by Modi family i.e. Mr. Arun Kumar Modi and Mr. Ashok Modi, the present partners. The company has set-up plant & machinery at Bikaner for manufacturing different value added dairy products including, skimmed milk condensed, skimmed milk powder, butter and ghee. The project was completed in November, 2015 at a cost of around Rs.70.51 crore which was financed through Rs.36 crore of term loans while remaining portion was funded through partner’s capital, unsecured loans and internal accruals. Post-commencement of manufacturing operations. The Modi group mainly consists of four major entities including MDY, Milk Food Aids Pvt. Ltd. (MFA) and Lotus Dairy Products Pvt. Ltd. (LDPL) which are also engaged in the same line of business of processing of milk and manufacturing of value added dairy products i.e. ghee, paneer, condensed skimmed milk, etc. while other group entity Amar Pratap Developers Private Limited (APDPL) is in real estate business.
